By car
With your own car you will come to one of the six ends of motorway in Munich. Whether you come on the A8 from Stuttgart, the A96 from Lindau, the A 95 from Garmisch, the A9 from Nuremberg, the A94 from Passau or the A8 from Salzburg, follow the signs for “Stadtmitte” (city center) and “Altstadtring”.
Keep on the Altstadtring to Karlsplatz/Stachus and turn from Sonnenstrasse into Adolf-Kolping-Str..
To load and unload luggage, stop right in front of the hotel. Then your car is best kept in the multi-storey car park next door.
By train
By Intercity, or any other train, you will arrive in Munich at the “Hauptbahnhof” (central station), right in the center. Leave the station by the main entrance near the taxi ranks and bus stops. Walk to Schillerstrasse opposite the entrance and, at the first crossroads, turn left into Adolf-Kolping-Str. For the Alpen Hotel Munich.
You will get to the hotel from the central station in about 5 minutes on foot.
By air
After you have landed at Franz-Josef-Strauss Airport in Munich, go to the central area "Z" and get in the S-Bahn S 8 (local train) towards Munich. After a journey of approx. 40 minutes you will arrive at the central station.
From there, walk for just under 5 minutes to Schillerstrasse and turn left at the first crossroads into Adolf-Kolping-Strasse.
A taxi from the airport to our hotel in the city center takes around 45 minutes and costs approx. € 60.00.
